Neighbours everybody needs good neighbours

The allotment site has somewhere in the region of 60 plots.  During the low demand of allotment holding some plots were doubled  up and some rented as blocks for horse grazing.  Of the remaining plots that are left a number are currently unoccupied, hard to believe in this current climate!

Given the limited resources that the management company have for "managing" the plots their resource is spread thinly.  However I have developed (I hope he feels the same?!) a good email repertoire with the manager. I have been gently pushing him to release one of overgrown and unloved plots but repeated potential recipients have turned it down!  The plot is a massive 6m x 30m very overgrown and loads of rubbish on it.  However, it has tremendous potential.

So today I received an email telling me the plot has been given to someone and they need a key to get on.

Who is the new neighbour?  Old, young, single, friends, a family, a pigeon man?  will they keep chickens, hens or ducks or will the grow fruit and veg?

Only time will tell, let's take things one step at a time - getting a key so access can be granted.
